Dr. Khalid Omar Al Midfa

Dr. Khalid Al Midfa has served as Chairman of Field Communication Systems since 2014, providing strategic leadership and direction to the Company. A successful entrepreneur and accomplished executive, Dr. Khalid has held several prominent leadership positions throughout his distinguished career, including CEO of Ankaboot at Khalifa University, General Manager of Sharjah TV, and Chairman of Sharjah Media City (Shams). He currently also serves as Chairman of Taqa Club Sharjah. Beyond his corporate and institutional leadership roles, Dr. Khalid has remained actively engaged in community development and strategic initiatives, contributing his extensive experience and leadership across the technology, telecommunications, media, education, and community sectors.

Lijesh Nair

Mr. Lijesh Suresh Nair serves as Director of Field Communication Systems (FCS), overseeing the company's overall operations, projects, workforce, client coordination, and business development. With around 20 years of management experience across the UAE and India, he has successfully led diverse business operations and large-scale teams. Since joining FCS in 2017, he has managed operations supporting a workforce of over 3,000 employees and overseen the recruitment and mobilization of more than 2,000 personnel. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Mumbai University and an ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification. His broad experience across operations, project management, human resources, and technology supports the continued growth and operational excellence of FCS.

From Telecom to Trusted Infrastructure Partner



FCS was established in 2014 in Abu Dhabi as a UAE National company. We began in telecommunications and have grown into a full-service infrastructure and outsourcing partner with branches and subsidiaries across the Emirates and the UK.

We have managed technology migration to GPON since 2010 and delivered multi-million projects with du, Nokia and Huawei. Today we plan, build and maintain fixed and mobile networks. We also install towers, deploy smart and security systems, roll out smart meters and solar, and supply the workforce, fleet and logistics behind large field programmes.

Special approvals for onshore and offshore work, including CISPA-restricted areas, mean our teams already operate in critical locations. Our projects have been completed in military sites, airports, a nuclear plant, royal palaces and government entities.
